Black Marlin, Huge Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, GT's, Coral Trout, Green Job fish,
Red Bass and much more.
This area of Coral Sea reef has long been regarded the most productive for the
biggest of game fish in prolific numbers, with Black Marlin in trophy sizes in
the period before Christmas each year.
All styles of fishing catered for from Heavy/Light Game, Sportfishing, Jigging,
Soft Plastics, Popper Casting and Trolling.
A normal day would see 4 of our guests leave at daylight on
"Kanahoee" to troll the 1000m drop off for marlin, another 4 would be
getting on "Popping Mad" for a morning of serious arm stretching,
throwing poppers and stick baits at XOS GT,s. The rest of our guests would then
head off to jig the pinnacles that abound this area for Dog tooth, Coral Trout,
Jobbies and the like.
Later in the day the time to jig Soft Plastics. Big Jig heads, Big Plastics, Big
Fish!
